7:15 A.M. update. Hurricane Laura now a category 2 hurricane with max sustained winds of 105 MPH continuing to travel north at 15 MPH. Laura made landfall as a strong category 4 hurricane earlier this morning with max sustained winds of 150 MPH. After the morning fog and clouds cleared today we have had a pleasant afternoon with temperatures near the normal of 83 degrees. Tonight clouds will increase late, as rains out west head our way for dawn.
