(Reuters) -Comcast's NBCUniversal will launch NBC Sports Network, or NBCSN cable channel, on November 17, the company said on Thursday, ahead of its planned spin-off of most of the cable networks.

Golf Channel first became the exclusive cable broadcasting partner of the PGA Tour in 2007 and that has yet to change. In 2021, the Tour re-upped with the Golf Channel through 2030. This past summer, Versant also renewed a deal with the USGA to maintain the rights to both the men's and women's U.S. Open Championships through 2032.

The new NBCSN channel will launch Monday and carry mostly sports that are also streamed on NBCU’s Peacock service, including N.B.A. games, Big Ten college football, golf and Premier League soccer.
