Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans has announced an unfortunate update on C.J. Stroud for the Titans game.
Stroud suffered a concussion two weeks ago in the first half of the team's game against Denver. With Stroud sidelined, Davis Mills will make his second straight start. Mills led Houston to a 36-29 come-from-behind win against Jacksonville. Ryans said he wants to see the veteran build on last week’s win.
For the second week in a row, C.J. Stroud will be out with an injury as Davis Mills takes his place under center.
Stroud missed Week 10 with a concussion and head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that Stroud remains in the concussion protocol. The lack of practice means that Stroud still has some steps to take before he’ll be in position to get cleared to play against the Titans this weekend.

He missed Houston's 36-29 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday after being concussed against the Denver Broncos the week before. Stroud was ruled out early in the week by head coach DeMeco Ryans and did not participate in a single practice before the Jaguars game.
