Expect to see patches of dense fog each morning before sunrise as dewpoints (water content of the air) continue to climb into the mid 60s. Friday another summer-like day with partly sunny skies after morning fog. Temperatures will approach the mid 80s but cool off just in time for Friday night football games.

Temperatures are expected to tumble quickly behind the front, dropping into the 60s and low 70s Sunday afternoon, then plunging into the 30s and 40s by Monday morning. Northern and western parts of Houston could flirt with their first light freeze of the season.

Houston faced extreme weather changes, from near 90 degrees to the 30s, with clear skies and warming trends expected later in the week.

Wednesday will be a warm and mostly sunny day. Temperatures will climb through the 70s and into the lower-80s. You’ll see more clouds in the sky going forward as we’ve got more moisture coming in from the Gulf.
