No. 23 Iowa football had No. 17 USC on the ropes Saturday inside Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, but the Hawkeyes didn’t score in the second half en route to a crushing 26-21 defeat.

USC rallied from a 21-7 deficit to defeat Iowa 26-21 in steady rain, showcasing the toughness that has eluded Lincoln Riley during his USC tenure.

Trojans quarterback Jayden Maiava went 23 of 32 for 254 yards and a touchdown and King Miller was USC’s leading rusher with 83 yards on 19 carries.
