The Seattle Mariners got the MLB offseason rolling on Sunday. The first big salvo has been fired out of the Pacific Northwest with a star signed to a new five-year deal.
"This opens up the entire offseason," Mike Salk said of the Seattle Mariners reportedly re-signing first baseman Josh Naylor.
On Sunday, Jim Callis and Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com chose the "toughest Rule 5 decision" for every team this year, and for the Mariners, they picked right-handed pitcher Michael Morales, who ranks as the No. 18 prospect in the Seattle system right now.
