Both the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans may be without multiple key players in Sunday night's matchup.
The New Orleans Pelicans played their first game since firing head coach Willie Green on Saturday when they faced the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night in the Smoothie KingCenter. Vice President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars said he hadn’t seen any signs of what the Pelicans’ identity is when he explained Green’s dismissal.
Moses Moody hit a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored 32 points, and the Golden State Warriors defeated New Orleans 124-106 in what was also James Borrego's debut as Pelicans interim coach.
