NEW YORK -- Ethyn Ewing needed only two days' notice — and short rest — to win his first fight for UFC. Ewing won his UFC debut — just eight days after his last professional fight — via unanimous decision over Malcolm Wellmaker on an undercard bout Saturday night at UFC 322.

Following UFC 322 last night (Sat., Nov. 15, 2025) inside Madison Square Garden, company officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that two fighters were transported to a local New York hospital for precautionary reasons after their bouts. The fighters were No. 2-ranked Welterweight Sean Brady and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) ace Rodolfo Vieira.

The former A1 Combat bantamweight champion picked up his second victory in eight days in his short notice octagon debut at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The 27-year-old stepped in on just two days’ notice to face the undefeated Wellmaker after original opponent Cody Haddon suffered a foot injury that scratched him from the contest.
